Practical questions before starting a digital project.

Simple answers about web apps, Laravel SaaS, AI, automations, WordPress, timing, budget and support. The goal is to understand whether custom development is really needed or a simpler solution is enough.

Operational FAQ

Answers organised by topic.

I collected the questions that usually come up before starting: costs, timing, technology, AI, security and support after launch.

Project, budget and timing
How much does a custom web app cost?

It depends on workflows, users, integrations, client area, payments, automations and complexity. After a first analysis I prepare a quote split into phases, so priorities, investment and the first useful release are clear.

Can we start with a deposit or step-by-step development?

Yes. For custom projects, working in steps makes sense: analysis, first version, evolutionary features and support. This reduces risk and lets you validate the project while it grows.

How long does development take?

A website or landing page may take a few weeks. A web app, SaaS or portal with custom workflows requires more phases. I prefer giving realistic timings after understanding goals, data and constraints.

Technology and development
Do you work only with Laravel?

Laravel is the main foundation for web apps, portals and SaaS because it supports clean code, security, queues, APIs, payments and long-term maintenance. When useful, I also integrate WordPress/CMS, external APIs, AI and existing business tools.

When should I choose WordPress and when a custom solution?

WordPress is useful when you need editable content and standard functionality. A custom solution is better when you need business logic, client areas, workflows, dashboards, integrations, payments, roles or specific automations.

Can you work on an existing project?

Yes, if the code and infrastructure can be reviewed. First I run a technical assessment to understand project status, risks, dependencies, security and priorities.

AI, automation and security
Is the AI you integrate just a chatbot?

No. The goal is to create useful automations inside a process: generate drafts, classify requests, prepare content, analyse data, support the admin or reduce repetitive tasks. Human review remains where it matters.

How do you prevent uncontrolled AI costs?

I use guided flows, limits, validation, rate limiting, logs and fallbacks. I avoid free chats without a purpose when the goal is a controlled business process.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes. We can plan maintenance, hour packages, tickets, reports, monitoring and ongoing improvements. The goal is not to leave the project idle after publication.

Still unsure?

The best answer comes from looking at your specific case.

You can start even from an imperfect idea: tell us the problem, goal and current tools. We will help you understand the most sustainable path.
